Meg Prall is a textile artist working in Pittsburgh, PA.  While she has a B.F.A. in sculpture, she has no formal education in fibers. Meg was taught to sew by her grandmother, how to cross stitch and embroider by her aunt, and how to knit by friends.  Textiles have a long history of being taught by one's community and Meg is proud to be part of that ongoing tradition.  She recognizes that her Appalachian roots influence her appreciation for handicraft, natural fibers, material reuse, cooperative learning, and community building through making.

Meg has kept a studio at Radiant Hall (McKees Rocks) since 2018.
